Watching my Grandfather develop photos in his darkroom must have created the spark, which turned into the passion that I have today. Developing my wedding photos in the bathroom of our house with a dark cloth to cover the window was my first project, which led to many years of black and white photography and home processing.
The digital age took me out of the darkroom and on to computer processing which of course is a new world. I have a simple workflow for most of my images and they are presented as seen and shot. However there are times when an image calls for an ‘altered reality’ look. My ‘dreamscapes’ involve using the camera itself as a brush, which leads to some pretty interesting results.
I have a definite focus on travel and landscape photography because of my love for nature and visiting as many countries as possible. I have recently added an urban portfolio to my collection of galleries.
